Dr. Narasimha Rao Vajjhala
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of New York Tirana in Albania
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Narasimha Rao Vajjhala currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of New York Tirana in Albania. He previously held the position of Chair for the Computer Science and Software Engineering programs at the American University of Nigeria. Dr. Vajjhala is a senior member of both the ACM and IEEE. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Risk and Contingency Management (IJRCM) and a member of the Risk Management Society (RIMS) and the Project Management Institute (PMI). With over 23 years of experience, Dr. Vajjhala has taught programming and database-related courses across Europe and Africa at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He has also worked as a consultant for European technology firms and participated in EU-funded projects. Dr. Vajjhala holds a Doctorate in Information Systems and Technology from the United States, a Master of Science in Computer Science and Applications from India, and a Master of Business Administration specializing in Information Systems from Switzerland.
Dr. Christina Georgantopoulouy
Professor, Design and ICT at Bahrain Polytechnic, Bahrain
BIOGRAPHY
Professor Christina Georgantopoulou is the Dean of Engineering, Design and ICT at Bahrain Polytechnic. She is a Mechanical Engineer with PhD from National Technical University of Athens and she is from Athens, Greece. Her role also includes Course Coordinator in Final Industrial and Research Projects and Supervisor in PhD, Master and undergraduate Final Year Thesis.
She has to obtain more than 20 years of teaching experience in Higher Education and she has been supervisor to more than 70 final dissertations. Her research interests are in CFD methods and techniques, grid generation, mathematical modelling of flows, pipeline flows simulation but also heat transfer and insulation in buildings, renewable resources of energy, photovoltaic devices and systems development etc. She has published more than 50 publications as research papers in international journals or in proceedings of int. conferences as well as more than 12 academic textbooks.

I am a Seasoned Academician, LinkedIn Top Voice in Higher Education, Leadership with 15 + years of Global experience spanning Three Continents Middle East, Europe, Russia, India with 100 plus research papers in World’s topmost journals. I hold a PhD in Economics from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, where I was a Russian Government Scholar and Senior Lecturer. A PGP in Data Science from Great Lakes Institute of Management and Texas McCombs School of Business, which I will complete in 2024.
Human menace like Poverty, inequality, education, health, climate change are the very critical areas i am passionate about and contribute towards its complete eradication aligning to World Bank Sustainability Goals. So whether it is to advise or write papers i believe in impacting my immediate environment with solutions to problems.
I have an interest in applying Data Science in the cross section of Management and Economics. Research enthusiast, mentor and advisor to CXO,CEO and academic leaders on Change management, leadership and Digital Disruption.
